Skims Beauty is set to launch in 2027, founder and celebrity mogul Kim Kardashian confirmed in a post on X (formerly Twitter).
Kardashian, who teased the hotly anticipated beauty line across social media in June this year, responded to a post from X user @laahlaah2023 on 22 September, who asked: “When is Skims Beauty coming?”
In response, Kardashian wrote: “Next year!!!! I can’t wait for you guys to see!”

In late 2025, Kardashian confirmed plans to launch Skims Beauty on Alex Cooper’s Call Her Daddy podcast, stating that Skims Beauty “is coming next. And that is going to be so fucking major”.
The brand also tapped Ami Colé founder Diarrha N'Diaye-Mbaye in November 2025, naming her Executive VP Beauty as the brand gears up to grow its beauty offering.
That same month saw Skims valued at US$5bn after a fresh round of investment.
This is Kardashian’s third attempt at beauty brand.
She also launched the now-closed SKKN in 2022, which offered skin care, make-up, fragrance and home ware.
Cosmetics Business has contacted Skims for a comment.
What could Skims Beauty’s launch look like and what do we know so far?

Kardashian hinted at what is to come from Skims Beauty in June 2026 through the fabrics and prints featured in her clothing line’s collaboration with artist Aurel Schmidt.
A number of Skims clothing items have launched in a new limited edition print designed by Schmidt.
They feature motifs of a lipstick, lip liner, make-up brushes, concealer and more reminiscent of Kardashian’s KKW Beauty, which ceased operations in 2021, but reimagined with Skims branding.
A TikTok video from beauty influencer Glamzilla, real name Stephanie Valentine, highlighted how Skims is hinting at past products in its prints using the brand’s Classic Hoodie in the ‘Snow In My Bag’ colourway as a reference.
Skims Beauty is not Kardashian’s first attempt at cracking the cosmetics category.
The mogul launched KKW Beauty in 2017 with make-up and fragrance.

Beauty giant Coty acquired a 20% stake in the business for $200m in 2021, and the brand relaunched a year later as SKKN by Kim.
Skims bought Coty’s share in the business in March, along with Kardashian’s 80% stake, bringing the star’s clothing, cosmetics, skin care and fragrance businesses under one umbrella for the first time.
SKKN by Kim was shut down over the summer in anticipation of a relaunch under Skims.
However, Skims has started dipping its toes in the space already – with mixed reactions.
The brand unveiled Seamless Sculpt Face Wrap last year, designed to create a “snatched” look around the jawline.
The bandage-style product garnered criticism, including from many saying it made wearers look like the character Hannibal from the horror-crime film Silence of the Lambs.
An ongoing brand collaboration also saw a range of hairbrushes in Skims signature hues with hairbrush brand Tangle Teezer.
