Hair care brand Nexxus has tapped Oscar-nominated actress Hailee Steinfeld as the face – and hair – of its newly-launched volumising line.
Steinfeld fronts the Unilever-owned brand’s ‘Get Hy with Nexxus’ campaign, which sees the Hawkeye star showcase the ways in which its Hy-Volume Collection can transform the user’s vibe, from weddings to the boardroom.
“I have had a lot of fun experimenting with different lengths and styles over the years, but the one look that always makes me feel my best is a big, voluminous blowout,” said Steinfeld.
“That is why it has been such an incredible experience teaming up with Nexxus on this campaign.
“When I use the Hy-Volume Collection, I know I can get that bold and bouncy texture, while still keeping my hair’s natural look and feel.”
Comprising a shampoo, conditioner and a Hy-Volume Cloud Foam, the line claims to deliver up to two inches of root lift versus untreated hair, with volume reportedly lasting up to 48 hours.
Taking inspiration from lash-lifting tubing mascaras, Nexxus’ Hyaluronic Tubing Technology in the rinse-off products wraps individual hairs in plumping polymers to deliver lift.
The Hy-Volume Cloud Foam, meanwhile, features Air-Lift Technology, developed to create space between hair strands for “extreme volume and weightless bounce”.
Steinfeld’s Nexxus collab isn’t the True Grit star’s first stint as a beauty ambassador.
The 28-year-old, who appears opposite Michael B Jordan in upcoming Jim Crow-era South vampire thriller Sinners, is also the face of Neutrogena’s Collagen Bank franchise.
