The celebrity chef teamed up with his daughter Holly Ramsay to promote the make-up brand’s Buttermelt Blush, which is formulated with mango and almond butter

Gordon Ramsay and his daughter Holly Ramsay have baked their way into the beauty industry as the newest brand ambassadors for NYX.

The British celebrity chef created a cake recipe based on the L’Oréal-owned make-up brand’s Buttermelt Blush, which was released in May 2024.

This was in response to Holly, a beauty and lifestyle content creator, initially attempting to bake her own cake inspired by the blush.

Gordon took to Instagram to humorously critique his daughter’s attempt before releasing his take on the dessert.

The recipe features almond and shea butter, which are found in the product’s formulation, and the frosting colours were inspired by the blush’s 12 shades.

"I never thought I would be part of a beauty campaign with my daughter, but what drew me to this partnership with NYX was the opportunity to entertain our global audiences in a fun and unexpected way," said Gordon.

"On top of that, working with my daughter was the icing on the cake."

NYX has also partnered with chef content creators such as Next Level Chef's Tineke, challenging them to test Ramsay’s recipe.

“What sets NYX apart from other beauty brands is the ability to innovate and collaborate with unexpected partners, like iconic chef Gordon Ramsay," added Denée Pearson, Global President of NYX Professional Makeup.

“We connect with our communities by being part of the cultural conversations and breaking the boundaries of traditional beauty and entertainment.

“Plus, who doesn't love cake?!"

The Buttermelt Blush delivers offers a soft matte, and glowy finish and also includes mango butter.

It is available to buy via nyxcosmetics.com and also stocked in Ulta, Target and Walmart stores in the US.
