Estée Lauder Companies strengthens Kilian Paris and Frédéric Malle leadership with Guillaume Gellusseau

Guillaume Gellusseau has been named SVP and GM for two of Estée Lauder Companies’ fragrance brands, Kilian Paris and Parfums Frédéric Malle

Estée Lauder Companies (ELC) has strengthened the leadership of two of its fragrance houses, Kilian Paris and Parfums Frédéric Malle, with the appointment of Guillaume Gellusseau as SVP and GM.

Gellusseau will take on full strategic, commercial and operational responsibility for both fragrance brands.

This will include overseeing both companies' global direction, brand development and growth ambitions, while preserving their distinct creative identities.

The 30-year veteran of luxury brand management, fragrance, beauty, retail and marketing most recently worked at French luxury department store chain Galeries Lafayette, where he served as Global Chief Marketing, Digital and Communication Officer.

Previously, Gellusseau was Global SVP and GM of Designer Brands, Serge Lutens and the Fragrance Center of Excellence at Shiseido Group.

He has also held senior leadership roles at French beauty giant L’Oréal’s Luxe division and its luxury skin care brand Lancôme, as well as luxury fashion house beauty brands Yves Saint Laurent (YSL) Beauté and Parfums Christian Dior UK.

Fragrance brand Kilian Paris was recently highlighted by ELC CEO Stéphane de la Faverie as an example “[where] the brand has created an alternative model to be able to accelerate an indie brand within the portfolio of the Estée Lauder Companies.

“During the course of 2026, we have really deployed the brand in more channels, more retailers around the world,” he added, speaking at the Barclays Global Consumer Conference.
