At the same time, Fre_de_rique Girard, President of the Dermscan Group, assumed the management of the CRO ClinicalLand.

“ClinicalLand presented a number of benefits for us,” said Frederique Girard president of the Dermascan Group. “It has allowed us to benefit from its proven experience in relations with investigators, to expand our areas of expertise into areas where PharmaScan is not necessarily present and finally to achieve a turnover of close to €4 million in the field of pharmaceutical clinical studies. Thanks to the teams in place and the synergies between PharmaScan and ClinicalLand, we have an extensive and innovative offer able to meet the requirements of our clients whatever their therapeutic area or mode of operation.”

As a general CRO, ClinicalLand will benefit from PharmaScan's specialisation in dermatology, ophthalmology, gynaecology and odontostomatology and also from its Clinical Investigation Centre (CIC) based in Lyon. It will also have access to a panel of 35,500 healthy volunteers and patients, plus a network of around 100 specialist clinicians.
