Armani Beauty has named singer and dancer Hanni as its new global make-up ambassador.
The 18-year-old, née Phạm Ngọc Hân, serves as the lyricist for the South Korean girl group New Jeans.
Hanni was pictured wearing the My Armani To Go Cushion foundation in shade 2, as well as the Lip Maestro lip lacquer, as part of the campaign’s debut imagery.
“Hanni is a very young artist with a great expressive power and an irresistible and captivating individuality: a contrast that I find interesting,” said founder Giorgio Armani.
“She has personality, which for me is the most fascinating trait, always.”
The partnership comes four months after Hanni was appointed as brand ambassador for fashion house Gucci.
The musician then featured at Gucci’s Cosmogonie fashion show at Seoul’s Gyeongbokgung Palace on 1 November 2022.
New Jeans was formed by Ador, a subsidiary of South Korean multinational entertainment company Hybe Corporation, in 2022.
The group is composed of five members including Minji, Hanni, Danielle, Haerin and Hyein, which released their debut single Attention in July last year.
In January 2023 Sydney Sweeney was appointed as ambassador of Armani Beauty’s new perfume My Way.
Sweeney revealed the news on Instagram in January 2023, after posting a picture of her holding the fragrance.
“I could not be more excited and proud to be the new face of Armani Beauty perfume My Way,” she said at the time.
“It has truly been one of the most beautiful experiences filled with adventures and friends.”
Hollywood actor Ryan Reynolds, Marvel star Tessa Thompson and transgender model Valentina Sampaio have all previously served as ambassadors for the luxury brand.
