1. Curls, coils & kinks are in

This year marked the first NYSCC Suppliers’ Day event since the July 2016 acquisition of Dow Corning by The Dow Chemical Company, and on the Dow booth, the strengths of both segments’ technologies were being leveraged. So it was interesting that Dow chose to promote its materials’ capabilities by focusing on sample formulations for textured hair: curls, coils and kinks are evidently back with a bounce.
