The UK Government has been urged by the British Beauty Council to intervene and support businesses amid soaring inflation and rising energy costs.
Despite the number of empty storefronts in the UK falling for the first time in four years, the British Beauty Council has warned that the recent high street recovery could be short-lived without action.
“The hard work isn’t over for salons and beauty retailers trying to build back and recover and as such we are continuing to engage with them on how they can best support our sector to do this successfully,” the Council said in a statement.
