The new store will stock exclusive beauty products and in-store treatments from brands such as Elemis, Dermalogica and Seasonly

Sephora is opening its seventh UK store in Kent.

The 4,593sqft location will open this winter in the south east county’s Bluewater Shopping Centre.

It will stock exclusive make-up, fragrance, skin care and hair care products from brands such as Makeup by Mario, embrace GXVE by Gwen Stefani and Haus Labs.

In-store services will also include skin care treatments from Elemis, Dermalogica and Seasonly.

“We are thrilled to continue this momentum of our rapid growth by opening Sephora stores in key shopping destinations such as the iconic Bluewater Shopping Centre,” said Sarah Boyd, Sephora UK Managing Director.

“We have loved seeing the enthusiasm and appetite from our customers around the UK of where they would like us to show up.”

The store announcement builds on Sephora’s existing locations in Manchester’s Trafford Centre and London Westfield’s White City and Stratford City shopping centres.

The LVMH-owned retailer will also open stores in Newcastle Eldon Square, Gateshead Metrocentre and Birmingham Bullring later this year.

“The brand’s only Kent-based store will be worth the wait for our guests, as it will bring multiple of the world’s most viral beauty brands to Bluewater that our customers wouldn’t have been able to shop for before Sephora’s arrival,” added James Waugh, Centre Director at Bluewater.

“We will be announcing more details on the arrival of Sephora in due course, with an expected opening date to be shared as soon as possible.”

Sephora launched a new tier-based loyalty programme for UK customers in July.

The scheme aims to strengthen the retailer’s position in the UK market by rewarding shoppers for engaging with the business.
