Sephora has opened the doors to its first UK store outside of London in Manchester’s Trafford Centre.
The 500sqm outlet features the LVMH-owned retailer’s signature black and white stripes throughout, with soft geometric shapes, ambient lighting, textured finishes and greenery.
More than 125 brands across cosmetics, fragrance and skin care will be available, including Sephora exclusives Glossier, Haus Labs by Lady Gaga, Makeup By Mario, GXVE Beauty, One/Size Beauty and more.
The Trafford Centre store also stocks in-store exclusive brands such as Tatcha, Glow Recipe, Danessa Myricks Beauty , Glow Hub and Coco Cosmetics.
New to Sephora, meanwhile, are brands including Adwoa Beauty, Relevant, Straand, Salt & Stone and Naked Sundays.
Services include Benefit Brow Bar for eyebrow treatments, and personalised fragrance engraving.
Sephora is giving away complimentary gift bags to the first 100 customers to enter the store throughout its opening week.
Sephora is set to expand its presence across the UK, with two more stores set to open in Newcastle in the autumn.
“Expanding our presence beyond London is something that consumers have been screaming out for, and we are listening hard to them when deciding where to go next,” Sarah Boyd, Sephora’s UK CEO, said at the time.
The retailer returned to the UK after 18 years in 2023 with the opening of its first London location in Westfield White City.
This was followed by a second store in the UK capital’s Stratford Westfield shopping centre in November 2023.
