Dior, Jo Malone London, Sephora and Garnier have been named the top-performing make-up, skin care and fragrance brands on social media among influencers.

This is according to a new Beauty State of Influence Report by influencer and social intelligence platform WeArisma, which ranked the brands on their ‘Ripple Impact’.

The metric is based on how the impact of influencers’ content is significantly further reaching and engaging than brands’ owned content.

WeArisma compared this value against the brand’s own Earned Media Value (EMV), which quantifies the monetary worth of organic brand exposure.

For the top-ranking beauty businesses, Jenny Tsai, founder and CEO at WeArisma, told Cosmetics Business that she is unsurprised they “generate significant social media attention”.
