Selfridges has reported a bounce back in sales as revenues increased by 28% in 2021.
The luxury department store chain announced that sales were up from £508.5m to £653.4m for the year to 29 January 2022.
However, the British company suffered as a result of Covid-19 store closures in 2020/21.
Operating loss for the year was £38.1m compared to £136.9m in 2020, and the pandemic has been cited as a future risk for the retailer.
However, Selfridges highlighted key activations and in-store initiatives, such as its Project Earth campaign and expansion into gardening to drive consumer engagement.
