The National Eczema Association (NEA) has expanded its Seal of Acceptance into make-up for the first time, with foundations, concealers, and primers from Rare Beauty, Tower 28 Beauty, IT Cosmetics and Laura Geller Beauty all receiving it
Before the expansion, the US non-profit patient advocacy organisation’s Seal of Acceptance already appeared on skin care products, such as moisturisers, sunscreens and cleansers, that met NEA’s strict ingredient, formulation and clinical safety standards.
The goal of the Seal of Acceptance is to help people with eczema and sensitive skin easily spot options suitable for them.
Tickets are now available for the 25th anniversary of the Pure Beauty Awards, taking place on 15 October 2026 at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London, UK. Join the beauty industry for an evening of recognition and celebration as this year’s winners are revealed. Click here to secure your place.
The NEA’s expansion into colour cosmetics reflects what the organisation has been hearing directly from the eczema and sensitive-skin community, Kristin Belleson, President and CEO of the NEA, told Cosmetics Business.
