QVC UK has introduced a new social commerce strategy to engage with its increasingly digital-savvy customers.
The new platform allows customers to discover and shop items from featured images using #MyQVCFind via its website.
The hashtag will also take customers to consumers blogs to shop items online.
To deliver the new platform QVC UK has partnered with social commerce specialist Curalate.
Commenting on the new partnership, Curalate’s CRO, Apu Gupta added: “QVC UK has a unique retail business model and understands the need to bring products to life not just through TV but all forms of digital media.
“Encouraging more people to engage with its social content will drive sales for QVC UK while providing a pleasurable and meaningful experience for its customers.”
Emma Goble, Content and Social Marketing Senior Manager at QVC UK, said: “We are always looking for me way for our customers to shop with us and are keen to use our social posts in a more dynamic way.
“Social commerce adds a new dimension to our multichannel retail offering, which is in tune with the way people now shop.”
Customers can also post their products on Twitter or Instagram using #MyQVCFind to feature on the brand’s site.
The launch comes hot on the heels of the shopping channel’s digital revamp for its American division.
