PRAI Beauty and e-commerce cosmetics retailer HSN have teamed up to launch a search to discover a woman who is “not just a pretty face” to represent the luxury skin care company.
Through the campaign, the companies aim to find a ‘real woman’ that believes doing good is just as important as looking and feeling good.
“We're launching a nationwide search for a woman who is 40 and older and who embraces the concept of giving back to her community. Someone with true beauty from the inside out,” said PRAI Beauty CEO Cathy Kangas.
The competition winner will receive a package including: an appearance on HSN, dinner with the judges, an all expenses paid trip to Tampa, a year’s worth of PRAI Beauty Products and a $500 donation to a charity of their choice. Two runners-up will receive $250 worth of PRAI products.
The entrants will be judged by PRAI’s Global Creative Director, photographer and reality television judge Nigel Barker. As well as Kangas and HSN Host Amy Morrison.
The deadline for the US-based brand’s nationwide search is 1 March 2017 and is now open on praibeauty.com. Three finalists will then be selected and posted on the PRAI Beauty Facebook page for public voting between 6-10 March. The winner will be announced on 16 March.
Entrants must submit two photographs (headshot and profile) of themselves and answer the following question in 200 words or fewer.
"At PRAI Beauty, we are 'not just a pretty face'. We are passionate about animal welfare and donate a portion of our proceeds, as well as our time, to animal charities around the world. Tell us why someone might say you are 'not just a pretty face.'”
