Pibiplast, the leading Italian developer and manufacturer of plastic packaging for make-up and personal care, offering innovative, versatile solutions combining performance and attention to detail, will be present at MakeUp In Paris on June 14th - 15th.
The new products presented at the fair are the output of PibiLab, the company's in-house innovation laboratory, focused on trends in beauty packaging and a reference point for the promotion, sharing and development of new ideas.
The Innovations
Make up your mood
Pibiplast presents the second release of the Make Up Your Mood collection, with targeted solutions for eyelashes and lips. Two mascaras (one in waterproof version), a lip and cheek, and a liquid lipstick + top coat duo.
Daring is a volume mascara with innovative mixed fiber brush: the combination of different fibers results in immediate volume and a fanned-out effect on the lashes. The brush is paired with Pibiplast Porto Cervo mono-material PP package, embellished with a shiny “nacre” finish. In time for the summer, the collection includes the Daring waterproof version, presented in mono rPET packaging, with degradé finish decoration in shades of blue.
Flexy is a lip and cheek with an innovative geometric shaped flocked applicator: an endlessly versatile solution to accurately apply lip and face products. Lastly, Glam and Shiny is a duo product combining a matte liquid lipstick and transparent topcoat for a long-lasting effect.
This collection highlights the synergies with formulators, allowing brands to significantly reduce development and launch times of new cosmetic products.
Duality
Duality is the latest concept coming out of PIBILab: a mascara packaging made up of one bottle, with two different caps and applicators. A new concept of "duo mascara": only one formula, but different performances ensured by the different applicators.
Smooth Lashes
Smooth Lashes is a selection of the most recent launches of plastic mascara brushes. Innovative shapes for excellent performance and buildable volume on the lashes, paired with a mono material bottle characterised by minimal and elegant design.
Due
At MakeUp in Paris, Pibiplast will also showcase Due, an innovative sustainable mascara solution, awarded finalist in the packaging category of the IT Awards. This smart proposal is made only of two pieces, instead of the usual five, to minimise the impact on the environment. The monomaterial pack in PP consists of a bottle with embedded wiper and a one-piece cap with rod and brush (bio-based fibers are also available).
