Beauty tech giant Perfect Corp is bringing beauty fans an enhanced virtual manicure experience with the launch of its new YouCam Nails app.
Users can digitally try out hundreds of nail shades with a choice of finishes including cream, jelly, matte and sheer, as well as creating their own nail art designs with patterns, stencil decals, jewels and adjustable nail shapes.
The app features the company’s AgileHand technology to replicate users’ nail looks onto their own hands in real time, keeping the designs in place as the user moves their hands, and is designed to provide a smooth experience across all skin tones.
“We are excited to deliver a next level virtual nail art experience to all, facilitating experimentation and providing tools to manicure lovers to design their own stylish nail looks with the latest AI and AR technology,” said Alice Chang, Perfect Corp’s founder and CEO.
“This one-of-a-kind virtual nail art experience invites beauty fans to explore thousands of trending nail looks and intricate nail art designs with the tap of a smartphone, creating a truly accessible and immersive creative manicure toolkit.”
The app is part of Perfect Corp’s ever-growing YouCam family, including the best selling YouCam Makeup which allows users to virtually try-on cosmetics products from lipstick to eyeliner, and recently expanded into male grooming with beard and facial hair options.
As well as teaming up with the likes of MAC, L’Oréal and Coty, the company debuted its first-ever virtual try-on NFT collection earlier this year, allowing brands to create virtual NFT experiences for consumers including make-up and nail art.
The YouCam Nails app is available to download on iOS now.
