Paco Rabanne has teamed up with injection and moulding specialist VPI to create the cap for its latest feminine fragrance Fame.
The successor to last year's Phantom scent, the Fame bottle features a similar robot design, as well as its connected and refillable cap designed by VPI.
Designed for both eco-friendly and aesthetic appeal, the cap features a screwing system to make it easier for customers to refill the fragrance, while also preserving the scent, according to VPI.
Much like its masculine counterpart, VPI also integrated an NFC chip into the fragrance cap, allowing consumers to further interact with the scent through features such as games and playlists by placing their smartphone near the robot's head.

Said to pay tribute to a “new era of femininity”, the Fame fragrance includes notes of jasmine, mango and creamy incense.
Featuring a sleek galvanised gold exterior – in contrast to the Phantom scent's silver – the Puig-owned brand is said to be targeting a new generation of consumers who are seeking new customer experiences, as well as eco-friendly fragrance solutions.
