Olaplex is the latest beauty brand to enter the fragrance category, with a mist based on the scent of its hair care range.
The limited edition Signature Hair and Body Mist is a blend of grapefruit zest and sugared mint, which also appears across Olaplex products such as No.3 Hair Perfector and No.7 Bonding Oil.

Available on Olaplex and Sephora’s US websites, the mist for hair and body priced at US$28 can be used solo or layered with other Olaplex hair products to amplify the scent.
The top note of grapefruit zest is said to offer a bright, citrus spark that delivers a burst of crisp, zesty energy.
Middle notes of sugared mint and ginger deliver a “clean finish that refreshes and awakens the senses,” the product's description reads.
Finally, a crushed sage base notes leaves “a soft, sophisticated base that anchors the scent with warmth”.
According to Olaplex’s social media posts, the new product was created in response to customer demand.
Olaplex is not alone in entering the fragrance arena over the past 12 months.
Gisou, Sam McKnight, Amika and Arkive are among the hair brands to launch scents.
Celebrity stylist Sam McKnight entered the scent market with a “fragrance with benefits” due to consumer demand in September last year.
Amika returned to the fragrance category with a new hair and body mist in August 2025, which it said was the “most requested product” in the brand’s 18-year history.
In February this year, celebrity hair stylist and Pure Beauty Awards judge Adam Reed’s Arkive Headcare expanded its fragrance line with the addition of a scent enhanced with AromaWellness ‘positivity technology’ to boost the mood of the wearer.
Gisou also unveiled its first honey-infused hair and body mists this week with two scents – Honey Dewy and Glazed Cherry – building on its Honey Infused Hair Perfume.
