Unilever plans to continue expansion of its Russian cosmetics business despite the economic slowdown of the local market and devaluation of the rouble, caused by sanctions imposed on Russia by Western countries, according to Unilever CEO Paul Polman. Recently, Polman had a meeting with Arkady Dvorkovich, Russia’s Deputy Prime Minister, as a result of which the company confirmed its investment plans for the Russian cosmetics market for the next several years.
