TNT Global Manufacturing has developed four new caps for Penhaligon’s Portraits collection.
Made of the alloyed material zamak, the caps are a part of the luxury perfume brand’s new line.
The galvanised gold caps feature an owl, cockerel, eagle and cat designed to be placed on the scents: The Ruthless Countess Dorothea; Monsieur Beauregard; The Uncompromising Sohan, and The Bewitching Yasmine.
Each scent is associated with a character inspired from English nobility, but given a mysterious Murder on the Orient Express twist. Each scent is said to encapsulate the character’s personality.
For example, the ferocious matriarch that is The Ruthless Countess Dorothea (owl cap) contains notes of beeswax absolute, sherry and bark oil, whereas The Bewitching Yasmine (cat cap) is said to be a quiet force with strong coffee notes set off against a creamy spice accord.
London-based artist Kristjana Williams designed the packaging for the fragrance, which relates to the fictional characters and caps.
