Diesel has named singer and actress Dove Cameron as Global Ambassador for its Only Desire perfume.
She will front a new campaign for the fragrance brand’s female scent, the licensing agreement of which is handled by French beauty giant L'Oréal.
Cameron was chosen as the face because she embodies the “essence of modern femininity”, which Diesel claimed is “bold, emotional and unapologetic”.

The former Disney star, who starred in Descendants and Liv and Maddie, has more than 74 million followers on social media, and is currently preparing for a highly-anticipated worldwide tour this summer.
Only Desire is the first feminine fragrance launched under the direction of Diesel Creative Director Glenn Martens.
The floral, fresh and warm scent includes top notes of lily of the valley, and heart notes of vanilla, which is set against a base of musk.
“Today, Diesel Fragrance is thrilled to have her embody Only Desire: a declaration that a woman's wants and needs are rights to be claimed,” read a Diesel company statement.
“Dove's journey with the brand comes to life through a surreal campaign film directed by Amber Grace Johnson and shot by Harley Weir, depicting a confident protagonist moving through a world of sculptural orchids toward the ‘throne of desire’.”
Diesel was founded by Renzo Rosso in 1978 and is best known for its denim fashion and apparel line.
The brand launched its first fragrance in 1996 with a unisex scent called Diesel.
It later shifted its focus to a line of men’s and women’s perfumes in 2007 after partnering with L'Oréal.
This includes the launch of fragrances such as Fuel for Life and Only the Brave.
