Mavala, the Swiss cosmetics and skin care company, has unveiled six new nail polish shades (£5.20).

The collection has been inspired by blush shades seen on the SS18 runway.

Each colour comprises of a kaleidoscope rose shade: Reykavik, a subtle mauve; Riyadh, a rich purple red; Hanoi, a bright fuschia; Shenzhen, a refined greige; Athens, a pearlescent rose; and Lima, a tangerine cream.

All of the polishes are stocked in John Lewis, Look Fantastic and other independent retailers across the UK.

Mavala was founded by its namesake Madelaine van Landeghem in 1958.

Despite its long-standing heritage in the nail care sector, the brand has branched out into other beauty divisions.

The brand now sells foot, skin and hand care products along with a dedicated eye care range that was launched in 1967.
