Swiss brand Mavala is supporting homeless charity CRISIS in the UK again this Christmas.
The nail care brand donates its products to the charity each year to help enhance the salon services offered by the charity at Christmas.
CRISIS provides essential services and support for single homeless people. Its centres across the UK serve as safe havens for homeless people during the festive period.
Jonathan Hodge, Managing Director at Mavala UK, said: “It’s shocking to learn how many people currently sleep on the street in the UK. The work CRISIS do at Christmas time is remarkable and it’s hear-warming to hear of the difference they make to the lives of their guests. At Mavala we’re just happy to help in any way that we can.”
Emily Duffy, Corporate Donations Assistant from CRISIS, added: “The salon service is one of the most popular services with our guests and it’s wonderful to see how a simple manicure can transform not only someone’s appearance, but also their spirit and confidence! If it wasn’t for the continued support of Mavala, the salon service wouldn’t be what it is today.”
