Shiseido-owned luxury beauty brand Clé de Peau Beauté has inked a retail deal in the UK.
Set to open in September 2019, exclusively at department store Harrods, UK customers will be able to purchase products from its 250-strong product line-up.
Ranges include collections across skin, body and sun care, and colour cosmetics for the face, lips and eyes.
Today, the brand is available across the Asia-Pacific market, Canada, the US and Russia.
Commenting on the new retail deal, Yukari Suzuki, Clé de Peau Beauté’s Chief Brand Officer, said: “After achieving success in [the] Asian markets, Clé de Peau Beauté is strategically poised to expand into new territories.
“The UK has great potential for Clé de Peau Beauté as a key market.
“We believe that British customers and international travellers to the UK are highly knowledgeable when it comes to beauty and will embrace our brand philosophy, as well as appreciate our approach for uncompromising quality.”
Huw Govier, Clé de Peau Beauté’s General Manager for UK and Ireland, added: “Beauty brands are leading the charge in the growth of luxury in the UK.
“As Clé de Peau Beauté has achieved an excellent track record for growth and success in the high-end beauty sector in Asia and the US, we are confident that our brand will prove to be a strong new contender in the category.”
Meanwhile, its multi-year philanthropic initiative, Power of Radiance, which honours women from around the world who work to keep women and girls in education is also set to launch in the UK.
