Tenacious, passionate and entrepreneurial Alana has a proven talent for developing creative concepts into commercial successes.
Hind Sebti - Founder & CGO, Waldencast
Hind has 20 years of experience solely dedicated to beauty, spent building brands across all beauty categories at Procter & Gamble and then L’Oréal where she had various marketing and general management positions in iconic brands like L’Oréal Paris, Maybelline and Redken. Hind is also the founder of Whind, a new beauty and lifestyle brand developed as part of Waldencast Brands.
Eve Fuller - Buyer for Skincare, Harrods
As Buyer for Skincare at Harrods, Eve works to define and deliver the strategy for the Skincare category through curating the brand portfolio and product range. Eve started her journey in Harrods 10 years ago on the Retail Academy where she gained invaluable experience on the shopfloor. After 18 months she moved into Buying and has since had the opportunity to work across a variety of departments including Furniture, Luxury Fashion Accessories and most recently Beauty.
Pauline Paterson - Co-Founder, Dr. PawPaw
Pauline Paterson is the co-founder, alongside husband Johnny, of multi-tasking balm Dr. PawPaw.Founded in 2013, Australian-born Paterson was inspired to create the brand after her daughter was diagnosed with eczema. In eleven years, Pauline Paterson has built her business, Dr PAWPAW, into a global brand with an annual turnover of over £5 million.
Sherrille Riley, Founder & CEO, Beauty Edit
Sherrille Riley, a prominent figure in the beauty industry, has carved her path as a leading authority after two decades. Her journey is a testament to her dedication, innovation and unwavering commitment to providing top-tier beauty services and products to clients worldwide. Sherrille’s story begins with her passion for beauty and wellness, leading her to launch Nails & Brows Mayfair, a luxury boutique salon located in the heart of London's Mayfair district. Her boutique quickly became the go-to destination for both royalty and A-list celebrities. Tumi Siwoku has 15 years Research & Development experience in the personal care realm. She has worked across toiletries, haircare, skincare, colour cosmetics and suncare for a number of Global brands and Manufacturers since 2008. She has developed products for Daimon Barber, Manuka Doctor, Dr Organics, Orla Kiely, Liz Earle, Waitrose, The Body Shop & more.
Wizz Selvey - Strategy Advisor, Wizz&Co
Wizz Selvey is a thought leader and a go-to industry name for market insights and advice in the retail industry, voted by RETHINK Retail as one of the top 100 global retail influencers. Previously heading up beauty buying at Selfridges and now the founder of WIZZ&CO, a strategy agency specialising in retail, consumer trends and brand-building.
Julia Wray - Head of Editorial, HPCi Media
Julia Wray has worked in the beauty industry on the science and supply side for more than 15 years. She enjoys spotting the next big cosmetic ingredient trends as they emerge and seeing new, fun marketing twists on tried-and-tested favourites. With more than ten years of journalistic experience, Sarah is currently the Editor of Pure Beauty. Her beauty expertise can also be found via EasyJet Traveller magazine and she regularly shares on-air commentary for the BBC. She's passionate about all beauty categories, but gets a thrill about discovering the next great indie brand.
Amanda Pauley - News Editor, Cosmetics Business
Amanda has 13 years journalism experience, and nine of these have been working for some of the leading trade titles in the beauty sector. She loves all things beauty – from scoping out the latest social trends to understanding the hot new ingredients – but also has in-depth knowledge of the spa and wellness industries too. Shining a spotlight on industry disruptors is her biggest passion.

Alessandro has over seven years of experience as a trade journalist, local news reporter and most recently as a writer covering the dynamic beauty industry. He is passionate about video games and technology, and is especially interested in how these sectors intersect with the ever evolving cosmetics industry.
