Kama Ayurveda is opening its first-ever UK store in November as it ramps up its retail expansion outside of India.

The Ayurvedic beauty brand’s 750sqft two-storey space in London’s Westbourne Grove will offer an “immersive shopping experience” focused on the ancient Indian philosophy of wellbeing.

Visitors can shop the Puig-owned brand’s full skin care, hair care and body care ranges made using Ayurvedic ancestral formulations.

They can also undergo consultations with Ayurvedic Vaidyas [practitioners of Ayurvedic medicine] to “understand their needs and requirements according to Ayurveda”.

Ayurvedic-themed food and beverages curated by celebrity cook and Kama Ayurveda’s UK brand ambassador Jasmine Hemsley will also be served.

"The global interest in Ayurveda is on a steady rise, particularly in the UK," Kama Ayurveda founder Vivek Sahni told Cosmetics Business.
