Luxury London hotel Claridge’s has opened the doors to its new spa destination, featuring resident brands including FaceGym, Josh Wood and Augustinus Bader.

Said to merge the timelessness of Claridge’s with innovative modern treatments, the 7,000sqft space includes seven treatment rooms, steam rooms and saunas, with treatments and decor inspired by traditional healing Japanese rituals.

Guests can book treatments including massages, facials, manicures and pedicures, as well as exclusive services from skin care brand Augustinus Bader, hair styling services by Josh Wood and facial workouts from FaceGym.

The spa will also host a changing roster of beauty and wellness experts, including nail artist Harriet Westmoreland and acupuncturist Ross Barr.

FaceGym’s founder and spa veteran Inge Theron – who also serves as Claridge’s owner Maybourne Hotel Group’s Creative Director of Spa and Wellness – worked with the hotel to design the new space and the treatment programme.

“We have created a spa here at Claridge’s where guests will find both holistic practices and results driven high-tech all under one roof,” said Theron.

“I’m immensely proud of the work which has gone into creating Claridge’s Spa and also that it will be FaceGym’s new home too.

“Claridge’s Spa feels such a natural extension for the FaceGym brand to be part of, as not only are we are passionate about creating first-class experiences, which Claridge’s has become synonymous [with] over the last 200 years, but we also always put the client first, creating a seamless, unrivalled service every time you visit.”

Guests will be able to customise their FaceGym treatments according to their needs, choosing from the likes of Cryo Contour, a facial designed to provide deep hydration and contouring.

Also available is the Radio Frequency treatment, which harnesses dermal heating to plump and tighten skin.

Finally, Clean & Lift combines the brand’s Signature Sculpt workout with deep cleansing to refresh skin and is said to leave guests with a healthy glow and defined contour.

Guests will also be able to purchase a selection of FaceGym’s skin care products and facial tools, which include its motion-activated Training Sticks and microneedling Active Rollers.

The brand’s spa debut joins its UK retail locations including a studio in London’s Notting Hill, as well as concessions in the UK capital’s Selfridges, St. John's Wood, Coal Drops Yard and King’s Road.

“I look forward to watching this partnership take off and seeing even more people experience the FaceGym effect,” added Theron.
