Augustinus Bader has named Jérôme Pulis as its new head of Global Brand Marketing and Communications.

Pulis, who was previously Director of International Communications at Parfums Christian Dior for 15 years, will lead the brand’s in-house team and global agencies.

Prior to Dior, he worked as Director of Communications for L'Oréal Paris, as well as having roles at Condé Nast and Sonia Rykiel.

“Jérôme’s wealth of experience within the industry will be invaluable to Augustinus Bader, as it continues to assert itself as a groundbreaking scientific platform and unparalleled skin care brand,” Augustinus Bader said in a statement.

Pullis said he will continue to volunteer as the President of the Biarritz film festival, Nouvelles Vagues, which he founded in 2022.

Augustinus Bader opened its first UK bricks-and-mortar location in partnership with Austrian wellness operator Lanserhof in 2023.

The brand’s Skin Lab is located at Lanserhof at The Arts Club in London, a private health and wellness space.

In 2022, the high-end skin care label closed a US$25m funding round, with French businessman Antoine Arnault and model Natalia Vodianova named among the investors.

The brand was co-founded by biomedical scientist Professor Augustinus Bader and Charles Rosier, a former Goldman Sachs MD, in 2017.
