The product will only be available for its US customers

GilletteLabs has brought its first-ever heated razor to the market.

The device delivers a sustained heat sensation via an warming bar at the push of a button and is said to feel like a hot towel with every stroke.

Other key features include adjustable temperature levels, automatic heat protection, wireless magnetic charging and five blades.

The product first hit the market last week on a trial sale via Indiegogo.

Gary Coombe, P&G’s CEO, said: “We’ve been delighted with the reception from the tech and grooming community.

“We had incredible feedback from early adopters on Indiego and everyone who got to see the product in action at CES.”

He added: “That’s why we’re so excited to now make this breakthrough innovation available to all our consumers in the US.”

It is now available from ondemand.gillette.com for US$200.
