The World Perfumery Congress, famous biennial meeting for the fragrance professionals, opens its doors on June 10, 11 and 12 at the Centre International of Deauville. On this occasion, DRT will present its products and its unique know-how to the industry.

Specialised in bio-based chemistry, DRT develops rosin and turpentine extracted from pine resin and supplies more than twenty industrial sectors, among which the fragrance industry.
Fragrances constitute an important sector for DRT. We carry on our investment effort in order to better meet the increasing demand of the market, with full respect for the environment.
explains Eric Moussu, Sales & Marketing Director.

Indeed, if DRT distinguishes itself with bio-sourced products, the company is also known for its eco-responsible approach. For instance, DRT plans to implement on its site of Vielle-St-Girons a biomass power station which will substitute the consumptions of fossil energy by using co-products obtained from the distillation of tall oil. The site will thus become a zero CO2 emission site. On the international level, DRT has launched the construction a new platform in the South East of the USA: a new tool allowing to rationalise the management of raw materials. A global approach motivated by responsible choices.

In terms of innovations, DRT develops varied ranges of terpene molecules while reducing its environmental impact and meeting customers’ expectations:
Our R&D team works hard on our processes so as to make them evolve continuously. It’s notably one of the reasons why DRT is today one of the largest global producers of aromatic ingredients respecting responsible practices.
concludes Eric Moussu.
