French pine chemistry specialists add new product to range

French pine chemistry specialist, DRT, will introduce a new fragrance at the British Society of Perfumers Symposium.

Called Sylvamber, the new product brings intense cedar and amber notes, adding a warm woody fragrance to any composition, according to DRT. The innovation is also said to bring longevity and roundness to fragrances. Already acclaimed by French perfumers, the launch arrives in a market where woody notes are increasingly sought-after.

The British Society of Perfumers Symposium will take place at Silverstone on 21 May 2014.
