Designed to resemble a cardboard package, the coffrets feature different colours for the Puig-owned brand's One Million, One Million Lucky, Black XS For Her, Olympéa and Pure XS For Her fragrances
Packaging company Cosfibel has developed a new coffret for fragrance brand Paco Rabanne in time for the holiday gifting season.
Designed to evoke a corrugated cardboard package, the tin coffrets are embossed with gadroons and are available in five different colours to complement the fragrance inside: One Million, One Million Lucky, Black XS For Her, Olympéa or Pure XS For Her.
The coffrets are made from screen-printed white metal that is then embossed and protected with varnish applied using flexography.
Inside, they are decorated with cutout fringes of waffled gold laminated paper behind a transparent chock, while the coffret is housed in a crystal PET sheath by Cosfibel subsidiary Grumbe SL.
According to Cosfibel, fitting the chocks required extensive trials and research into attaching the glitter décor to the base material, while it also developed specific cutting tools to create the tins.
Meanwhile, the company has also created a special lidless collector's edition, which is designed to house a large bottle of the chosen Paco Rabanne fragrance and a travel spray.
The collector's box displays the letters 'P' and 'R' under the chock, as well as a variety of glittery festive shapes made from moulded polystyrene.
