Charlotte Tilbury is expanding outside of the British capital with the opening of its first standalone store out of London.
The upcoming ‘Charlotte Tilbury Beauty Wonderland’ will be open in Liverpool from October.
Shoppers at the Liverpool One leisure complex can experience make-up and skin care services, along with shade-matching and skin analysis.
The new store will include cosmetic brand's signature ‘Beauty Boudoir’, an intimate space dedicated to private make-up consultations with tailored individual appointments as well as group bookings.
“Charlotte Tilbury’s selection of Liverpool One as their regional debut site is testament not only to the destination’s draw for international brands, but also our positioning at the forefront of retail trends, such as tech-led beauty," said Alison Clegg, Director of Asset Management for Liverpool One property manager, Grosvenor Group.
Charlotte Tilbury, founded by the namesake celebrity make-up artist in 2013, has stores in London, Los Angeles, Dubai and Hong Kong.
The now Puig-owned brand made its travel retail debut in 2019 with World Duty Free at London Heathrow airport.
Beauty is traditionally a London-centric industry, but more beauty brands and retailers are tapping into the consumer spend outside of the UK capital.
Harrods, famed for its Knightsbridge department store, unrolled its new H Beauty store concept into suburban locations across the UK.
Flannels, the Frasers Group-owned retailer, focuses on regional retail as each store focuses on the needs of its local market.
Debenhams chose Manchester for its first store dedicated to cosmetics in December.
