Lipstick brand SHESPOKE has launched its Icon Series in collaboration with the tennis legend's non-profit foundation

Move over Emma Raducanu, beauty has a new tennis muse.

Sporting legend Billie Jean King has partnered with female-founded lipstick label SHESPOKE on the brand’s new Icon Series.

SHESPOKE will donate a portion of proceeds from the Rally x BJK lipsticks and Topspin lipgloss to the Billie Jean King Leadership Initiative, a non-profit which promotes equality and inclusion in the workplace.

The collection is custom designed by King, honouring her signature bold lip in a purple shade to symbolise equality. The lipstick is available in four finishes: Sheer, Creamy, Balm and Matte.

The King collaboration marks the first of SHESPOKE’s Icon Series, via which the brand plans to partner with other trailblazers to create lipsticks representing their unique stories, with a portion of proceeds donated to a philanthropic organisation of their choice.

Former world number one tennis player King won 39 Grand Slam titles and, in 2017, was portrayed by Emma Stone in the biographical film Battle of the Sexes, based on the 1973 match between King and Bobby Riggs.

The collection can be purchased via shespokemakeup.com.
