For others in beauty, it is a case of ‘product what?’ But those two words when paired are actually very important for combating product waste and ensuring maximum consumer satisfaction.
“Product restitution is the share of product that can be removed from its packaging,” explains Eva Martin, Product Line Manager, Dispensing Personal Care at plastic packaging manufacturer Berry Global.
“Of course, consumers always want to get every last drop of product out of their purchases, but with some packaging formats this can be fairly challenging.”
