The London niche perfume brand first released the collection inspired by Graham Greene's novel Brighton Rock in January

British fragrance house Miller Harris has unveiled two new additions to its literary inspired line.

The niche brand released Violet Ida, the first fragrance based on Graham Greene’s 1938 thriller Brighton Rock, in January and now consumers can get their hands on Blousy and Brighton Rock.

Brighton Rock, the second fragrance inspired by Greene’s novel, was created to capture “the lively spirit of this legendary British town – a place shaped by the ocean and the vibrant people who live there,” said the brand.

With ozonic salty accords; top notes of rose, geranium and iris; and gourmand candy base notes, Miller Harris aims to take the wearer to the nostalgic British seaside complete with a stick of rock.

Meanwhile, Blousy has been created as an ode to 1930s glamour and the time of Greene’s acclaimed book is set.

“Like burgundy red lips, Blousy leaves a lasting impression, marking the air with a bold signature of fruits and flowers which is distinct and unforgettable,” explained Miller Harris.

Wearers will find strawberry liqueur and vintage rose notes at the heart, with sandalwood and oakmoss at the base and a blend of coriander seed, davana, cinnamon and green mandarin at the top.

Available from millerharris.com and in Miller Harris stores from 25 July, each edp is from £75 for 50 ml.
