Mary Kay, the US colour cosmetics brand, is launching into Peru from September, building on its presence in Latin America.
After a successful launch in Colombia in 2015, the brand will soon open headquarters in Lima, on the Pacific Coast.
The concept of direct selling is “more attractive than ever” and has been growing in Peru for the past 40 years, according to Mary Kay.
The company said it has worked with executives from the US, Argentina, Brazil, Mexico and Colombia on the new market launch.
It plans to roll-out a country-specific social media and website presence, as well as demos showcasing how to become a Mary Kay consultant.
