Maria Nila, the Swedish hair care brand, has joined forces with singer Zara Larsson to promote its line-up of vegan and cruelty-free hair care products.
Since rising to fame in the Swedish version of Britain's Got Talent, the 22-year-old has gone on to score international hits with songs such as 'Lush Life' and 'Ruin My Life'.
Now, she will work with Maria Nila to bring its sustainable values to a global audience, embodying the brand's tagline 'Be Friendly, Stay Curious, Act Honest', according to the company.
Commenting on her appointment, the 'Symphony' singer said: “My family and I have been using Maria Nila for a long time; it has been our go-to hair care brand.
“For me, beauty is not only about how you look but how you feel. It’s about being comfortable, trying new things, and shaping your own look and style.
“I get so inspired by Maria Nila’s values to become a global leader within sustainable beauty. I am super happy and excited to be a part of the Maria Nila family!”
The partnership will see Larsson share her own experiences with Maria Nila, as well as being the face of the brand's upcoming 2021 campaigns.
Today, the brand offers a variety of hair care solutions including shampoo, conditioner, hair masks, colouring and styling products, and has been awarded Leaping Bunny, PETA and Vegan Society certification for its cruelty-free and vegan-friendly formulas.
