Ashley Tisdale expands Frenshe into hair care with Target launch

The actress wants to create hair care products that focus on scalp health

Actress and entrepreneur Ashley Tisdale is taking her wellness brand Frenshe into the hair care market with a new range of products designed to promote scalp health and hair hydration.

In an interview with WWD, Tisdale revealed that the upcoming line includes shampoos, conditioners and scalp serums among others.

The collection is tailored to address key hair care concerns, such as restoring moisture and clarifying the scalp.

The products will debut at Target on 29 December, with prices ranging from US$13 to $15.

Tisdale originally launched Frenshe in 2022 as a beauty and wellbeing brand. 

The brand’s Being Frenshe Milky Body Lotion in Lavender Cloud went viral on TikTok, helping Frenshe amass more than 60,000 followers.

Reflecting on her journey in beauty, Tisdale told Allure in 2022: “It’s the hardest thing I’ve truly ever worked on. Anyone who says it’s easy probably is putting just their name on it. Starting a beauty brand is a full-time job.”

The actress’s personal experience with alopecia areata, an autoimmune condition she was diagnosed with in her twenties, played a significant role in inspiring Frenshe’s hair care expansion.

The new line emphasises scalp health and features a variety of targeted formulas.

Frenshe’s hair care launch features three distinct collections, each addressing specific hair needs and infused with signature scents.

Moisture Collection is designed to hydrate and soften, and this range is formulated with hyaluronic acid and coconut oil. 

Products in this range have a Cashmere Vanilla scent and include a shampoo, conditioner, leave-in conditioner, multi-tasking Moisture Oil, all-in-one hair cream and ritual refresh dry shampoo.

The Restore Collection, featuring hemisqualane and ceramides, is tailored to repair and strengthen hair. 

The lavender cloud-scented range includes a shampoo, conditioner, and reset and renew hair mask.

Finally, the Clarify Collection targets scalp health.

This collection uses sea moss and glycolic acid to detoxify and soothe. 

It comes with a salty scent, infused with sea salt and sandalwood, and includes a shampoo, calming scalp serum and detox scalp scrub.
