L’Oréal has appointed company veteran Silvia Galfo President of its Luxe Division USA.
Galfo, formerly Chief Growth Officer of the beauty giant’s US subsidiary, will succeed Megan Grant.
Grant, who led the Luxe Division for five years, has not revealed her next career move.
L’Oréal Luxe US comprises beauty brands including Giorgio Armani, Lancôme, Kiehl’s and YSL.
Galfo will report to David Greenberg, CEO of L’Oréal USA and President of the company’s North America zone.
“Silvia brings a long and impressive track record of success in all areas of the beauty business,” said Greenberg.
“She is a long term L’Oréalian with a world view on beauty and luxury.
“I am confident that Silvia’s strong leadership and consumer orientation will continue to drive the luxe brand portfolio to new heights in the US.”
Galfo has worked for L’Oréal for more than two decades in key leadership roles.
Previous positions include General Manager of Armani Beauty and Senior VP Marketing at Lancôme.
