L’Oréal Professionnel has launched its first-ever crew of Global Creative Contributors – collaborating with the best hair stylists in the business to help “evolve” its brand.
The collective of “standout hair stylists” will work with the French beauty giant’s brand over the long term to help it co-create trends, content and professional education for the hairdressing industry, as well as advising on product development.
The crew is described as a new model of collaboration, with the group of global celebrity hairdressers and colourists working to help build L’Oréal Professionnel’s brand, not just represent it.
“Now is the perfect time to evolve beyond a traditional ambassador model because the professional community is stronger, more connected and more visible than ever, driven by new digital habits and real-time trend acceleration,” Claire Le Bleis, Global Brand President, L’Oréal Professionnel, told Cosmetics Business.
“And I also believe in open creation, a more collaborative and future-ready way for brands and talents to build together and shape culture.
“These talents have a strong voice within their communities, express themselves through social platforms and help make the brand truly global across our key markets.
“They are involved at multiple stages of product development, campaign creation and education design, ensuring that what L’Oréal Professionnel brings to market is grounded in real professional needs.
“This creates a relationship built on trust, proximity and constant dialogue.”
