Liberty names ex-Versace executive Alex Pregnolato CFO

The seasoned luxury retail sector executive has joined the luxury department store, effective immediately, stating it to be an ‘honour’

Liberty has appointed former Versace executive Alex Pregnolato as CFO, effective immediately.

Pregnolato is a veteran in the luxury retail sector, having most recently served as CFO and Head of Transformation at De Beers for the past three years.

He also held the role of CFO for Versace Americas from 2017 to 2021.

Pregnolato shared the news of his appointment at the luxury department store on LinkedIn, and stated: “I am thrilled to share that I have joined Liberty as CFO.

“It is an honour to be part of an iconic business with more than 150 years of history and heritage.

“Looking forward to contributing to the next chapter of this remarkable company.”

This news follows the news last week of Liberty promoting Lydia King to Managing Director of Retail.
