La Roche-Posay has partnered with The All England Lawn Tennis Club as the L’Oréal-owned brand is named the exclusive sun care supplier of The Championships, Wimbledon.
The partnership comes as the dermalogist-led skin care brand sets out to make sun care more accessible while encouraging healthier sun-safe behaviours at the two week long sporting event.
The event will see La Roche-Posay distribute more than 500,000 sunscreen samples to visitors at the tournament in London, UK, between 29 June and 12 July.
At The Championships, Wimbledon, La Roche-Posay aims to make sun protection more accessible, helping visitors to protect their skin from sun damage while reinforcing the importance of daily UV protection.

This comes as La Roche-Posay reports melanoma rates in the UK have increased by approximately 30% over the past decade – with an estimated 90% of cases preventable through effective sun protection.
Guests will also have the opportunity to access expert-led skin health education and complimentary consultations with qualified dermatologists at the event.
Tennis ace Jannik Sinner will be supporting this mission as Global Brand Advocate for La Roche-Posay’s Anthelios sun care range, promoting the importance of sun protection both on and off the court.
On the ground, La Roche-Posay will host an immersive activation – Game. Set. Protect. – where visitors will have access to on-site product discovery, educational experiences and expert-led guidance on sun safety, alongside interactive experiences, competitions and exclusive prizes.
“We are delighted to welcome La Roche-Posay as our Exclusive Suncare Supplier for The Championships,” said Usama Al-Qassab, Marketing & Commercial Director at the All England Club.
“We look forward to showcasing our shared values of guardianship by promoting sun-safe behaviour here at Wimbledon.
“The free sun care samples from La Roche-Posay alongside our plentiful water stations and increased shade and shelter provision will care for our guests better than ever."
Caroline O’Neill, Managing Director of L’Oréal Dermatological Beauty UK, added: "At L’Oréal Dermatological Beauty, we believe that skin health is a fundamental pillar of overall well-being.
“Just as Wimbledon is dedicated to protecting the absolute highest standards of the game, La Roche-Posay is committed to protecting skin health through pioneering dermatological science and our most advanced UV filtering technology.
“With melanoma rates in the UK rising, this partnership allows us to champion vital sun-safety education on a truly world-class stage, ensuring that protecting your skin is as integral to a summer day out as enjoying the tennis itself."
