L'Oréal has appointed Australian singer and professional swimmer Cody Simpson as its new brand ambassador.
Simpson will be the face of the beauty goliath’s newly launched L'Oréal Paris Power Age Serum and Moisturizer.
He will also star in an ad campaign for the brand’s Men Expert skin care product range.
“Being a swimmer in the chlorine for hours a day, I'm glad I have @lorealparis to keep my skin hydrated,” Simpson said in an Instagram post.
“Stoked to be in their Men Expert campaign for the new L'Oréal Paris Power Age Serum and Moisturizer.
“It’s full of hyaluronic acid for long-lasting hydration.”
Simpson was a talented swimmer in his youth, having won two gold medals at the 2009 Queensland Swimming Championships.
In 2019, he returned to the swimming scene and went on to compete in both the Australian Swimming Championships and Commonwealth Games in 2022.
Simpson has also been creating music since 2009 and has released four studio albums over the past decade.
Last year the artist created his own fashion brand, Prince Neptune: The Label, with the eco-conscious range comprising hoodies, shirts and tees.
The appointment comes after L'Oréal Paris named model Kendall Jenner as brand ambassador in July 2023.
The sister of Kylie Jenner and Kim Kardashian signed a £11m deal to join Helen Mirren, Viola Davis and Amber Heard as a face for the brand.
In May 2023, the brand owner also appointed South African actress Thuso Mbedu as international Brand Ambassador.
Mbedu has worked with the beauty goliath as a spokesperson for the Sub-Saharan Africa region.
