The Unilever-owned hair care brand’s global education initiative will shine a spotlight on the stylists shaping the future of the professional hair industry, with the brand calling it a ‘new era’ of hair education

K18 has launched a Pro Artist Program to support stylists who are shaping the future of the professional hair industry.

The Unilever-owned biomimetic hair science brand is expanding its mission of being an stylist-first brand by elevating its K18 Pro Artists, calling it a “new era” of hair education “by stylists, for stylists”.

K18’s Pro Artist Program offers stylists a platform to grow their reach, evolve their education offerings and connect globally.

“The future of hair artistry is being shaped behind the chair every day, and by talented educators sharing their expertise within the pro community.” said Kathy Lewis, SVP of Global Education at K18.

“The K18 Pro Artist Program is our commitment to investing in those artists – amplifying their teachings, expanding their reach, and supporting the communities they are building.

“This is about elevating the voices already moving the industry forward and redefining what modern hair education looks like as hair longevity becomes a new priority in the professional channel.”

The programme gives participants access to a blend of technical and advanced hair-science courses led by global industry educators.

In addition, participants will receive support from K18, including product resources, promotional opportunities, and collaboration in brand-led classes, events and campaigns.

Launching across key international professional markets, including the US, UK, Australia, Sweden, the UAE, France, Mexico and Chile, K18 Pro Artists are selected through applications, recruitment of established educators and identification within K18’s stylist community.

The ongoing selection process “prioritises educators who teach independently, build engaged audiences and demonstrate leadership within the professional space”.
