Biotechnology hair care brand K18 has tapped Kleona Mack as its new CMO.
Mack joins the Unilever-owned brand from Shark Beauty, where she was also CMO.
K18 confirmed the appointment to Cosmetics Business.
Prior to her time at Shark Beauty, Mack served as CMO for Glossier, as well as previously holding the position of VP, CMO Strategic Projects for L’Oréal.
She joins K18 as Unilever doubles down on its beauty portfolio, having completed a US $44.8b deal to sell its food business, which included brands such as Hellmann’s, Marmite and Pot Noodle.
K18 continues to shine a spotlight on hairstylists and educators, having recently announced the launch of its new Pro Artist Program to support and elevate stylists.
