The owner of perfume lines from Coach, Montblanc, Lacoste and Jimmy Choo is focused on delivering new fragrances in the coming year

Interparfums SA has unveiled its outlook for its financial year ending 2026.

The licensed fragrance specialist is expecting net sales to increase 1% to US$1.48bn, up from $1.47bn in 2025.

Diluted EPS, which measures a company's earnings per share, is expected to decline 5% to $4.85, a decrease from $5.12 compared with the previous year.

The owner of perfume lines from Coach, Montblanc, Lacoste and Jimmy Choo said it is focused on delivering a strong pipeline of new fragrances in 2026.

However, the business expects to be impacted next year by “broader macroeconomic challenges and ongoing inventory destocking”, according to Jean Madar, Chair and CEO of Interparfums.

“Despite these pressures, the business still anticipates a modest increase in net sales over its 2025 guidance, with foreign exchange gains offsetting the impact from the expiration of our license for Boucheron,” said Madar.

Interparfums SA debuted its private-label perfume collection Solférino Paris in July 2025, which is targeted at the niche fragrance market.

The licensed fragrance specialist's first proprietary brand focuses on haute parfumerie, with ten gender-neutral scents each inspired by an iconic Parisian place or moment.

Madar added: “Our owned brand, Solférino, has made a very encouraging start, and we expect to expand into an additional 50 doors in the first half of 2026.

“We will also begin distribution of the redesigned Goutal fragrances in 2026

“These should partially offset the impact of Boucheron's expiration, as its licensing agreement concludes at the end of 2025, with the remaining fragrances being sold off through the following year.”

For Interparfums' European-based operations, the business plans to introduce a series of “strategic extensions” across key brands.

This includes Coach, with plans to introduce two new offerings aimed at men and women that build on the brand’s signature scents.

For Lacoste, Interparfums plans to bring “fresh interpretations” to market within both the original franchise and the L.12.12 line.

A new men’s extension for Jimmy Choo, and expanding Montblanc’s Legend franchise, is also planned.

Madar continued: “The investments we are making in 2026 will set our future brands up for success and serve our core brands with a strong pipeline of blockbuster launches in 2027, namely Montblanc, Guess, Ferragamo and Cavalli, setting the stage for us to accelerate our profitable growth.

“We also anticipate that the current macroeconomic headwinds will moderate by late 2026, providing a more favourable environment and positioning us for a stronger outlook in 2027 and beyond.”
