Interparfums is preparing to launch a private-label perfume collection in 2025.
The proprietary brand, named Solférino, will comprise a collection of ten fragrances targeted at the niche fragrance market.
“This high-luxury collection will initially launch through an ultra-selective distribution channel and our first-ever boutique, entirely dedicated to the brand, which should be up and running by the end of next year, along with an e-commerce site,” said Jean Madar, Chairman and CEO of Interparfums.
The new year will also see extensions to Interparfum's existing fragrance lines, including Montblanc Explorer, Jimmy Choo Man, Coach Woman and Man and Lacoste (Picture).
This will also include a new men’s “blockbuster” for Guess, Iconic, in Europe, along with several new launches for the Guess fragrance collection.
In the US, meanwhile, Interparfums will launch Fiamma Ferragamo and expand its Ferragamo Men label later in 2025.
The fragrance giant revealed the upcoming private-label collection and expansions to its fragrance ranges in its guidance update for 2025.
Despite the “strong line-up of new pillars and extensions coming to market”, Interparfums anticipates “modest growth” of around 4% in sales and earnings.
“Our initial 2025 guidance reflects our prudent outlook, considering the various factors currently influencing the fragrance market,” added Madar.
“We are confident that 2025 is poised to be another record-setting year, and will provide updates early next year as we gain greater visibility, particularly following the performance of the 2024 holiday season and the initial orders for 2025.”
The full-year guidance update follows the fragrance maker's Q3 2024 results, which saw sales increase by 15% to US$425m.
Operating income also rose by 22% to $106m, bolstered by a strong performance from the company’s largest markets including North America, Western Europe and Asia/Pacific.
These markets grew by 12%, 25% and 15%, respectively.
In January 2023, Lacoste signed a 15-year perfume deal with Interparfums after buying its fragrance licence back from Coty.
Interparfums has been responsible for the creation, development, production and marketing of all perfume and cosmetics lines under the Lacoste brand.
