Skin care brand Glamglow has quietly shuttered its e-commerce website.
A message on the Estée Lauder Companies-owned (ELC) website states that Glamglow is “no longer accepting new online orders” and is redirecting customers to its Amazon store page.
Customer accounts have also been closed, and marketing emails will no longer be sent out, according to the statement on the website.
Glamglow has not specified a reason for stopping orders from its website and ceasing its email marketing efforts.
“Your support means everything,” a statement on Glamglow’s website reads.
“While we are unable to accept new orders, we are still here to help with any existing orders or refunds.”
“But do not worry. You can still find your favourite Glamglow products now at Amazon.”
The website closure follows Glamglow ceasing trading in the UK and Ireland in September 2022, after the US brand stopped accepting new orders in the UK and Ireland.
“An accumulation of challenges has led to the incredibly difficult decision to cease trading Glamglow in the UK & Ireland,” the brand said at the time.
This coincided with ELC stablemate Smashbox’s also revealing that it would cease trading in the UK and Ireland from 29 September.
California’s Glamglow was founded by Glenn and Shannon Dellimore in 2010, who developed Hollywood-inspired treatment masks promising radiant, glowing skin.
ELC acquired Glamglow in 2014.
